US markets end marginally lower
The US markets had an unspectacular day of trade. Dow Jones closed at 10,426.30, lower by 11.11 points or 0.11%, Nasdaq ended at 2193.14, weaker by 10.64 points or 0.48%, and S&P shut at 1109.8, down 0.52 points or 0.05%.

Asian markets up 4th day in a row

The Asian markets have advanced for the fourth day on reports that the Chinese factory output jumped to a 19-month high in October. - Asian markets end positive - Asian markets end in green; Hang Seng surges - Asian markets end positive; Hang Seng up 2% - Asian markets end negative; Seoul Composite sheds 2% - Asian markets extend gains - Asian markets end in red; Hang Seng down 2% The Hang Seng has advanced 153 points to 22,421. The Nikkei is up marginally at 9,876. The Shanghai Composite Index is down 17 points at 3,161. The Taiwan Weighted Index has increased 75 points at 7,668. The Hang Seng has advanced 175 points to 22,443. The Nikkei is up 22 points at 9,892. The Shanghai Composite Index is flat at 3,177. The Straits Times and the Taiwan Weighted Index are marginally up at 2,713 and 7,596, respectively. The Seoul Composite on the other hand is marginally down at 1,578.
