M&M Fin net profit jumps 111%
Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services has reported a 111 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit to Rs 97 crore for the quarter ended December 2009 compared with Rs 46 crore in the same period last year. Total income of the non-banking financial company grew by 13 per cent to Rs 409 crore during the reporting period.

Delphi launches CNG kit for Indian automobile market

It said the kit is approved to work with all major CNG cylinder brands in India and has been "tested, verified and approved by the International Center for Automotive Technology (iCAT) under both city and highway conditions." The kit has been approved for two base models of 26 variants of the Euro III system with engine capacity ranging from 795.75cc to 1987.50cc. "The product, approved by the Transport Department, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, will be available through Delphi’s strong national distribution and service network initially in Delhi NCR (National Capital Region)...," K Ramesh Rao, Country Director, DPSS Indian sub-continent said. Delphi’s aftermarket product portfolio in India includes four major product lines: Chassis, Vehicle Electronics, Thermal and Consumer Accessories. Delphi has been operating in India for 13 years and has three manufacturing sites and a technical centre in Delhi and Bangalore.
