Firefox lines up 10-12 new bike models for next fiscal

Firefox is the exclusive distributor of the US-based Trek bikes in India. At present, Firefox has over 50 models in its portfolio, including over 10 models from Trek. Singh said the company is aiming to increase its sales by over 50 per cent during 2010-11. "This fiscal we are likely to clock a sales of 18,000 units, which is a jump of over 60 per cent from last fiscal. Going forward, we are aiming for an over 50 per cent jump in the next fiscal to 30,000 units," Singh said. The company, which is showcasing the Rs 2.4 lakh bicycle -- Equinox 9.8 SSL -- from Trek portfolio has already received the first order for the high-end road bike. Singh said the company expects more orders in the months to come.
